The ANM & GNM entrance examination organized by WBJEEB is one of the most high-volume and career-defining examinations in West Bengal. Successful qualification leads to guaranteed government healthcare service opportunities, providing nursing diplomas in hospital and community health centers.

ANM (Revised): 2-year diploma focused on rural primary healthcare, sub-centers, and maternal care (open exclusively to female candidates who are permanent residents of Gram Panchayat areas).

GNM: 3-year comprehensive general nursing and midwifery diploma covering medical-surgical, pediatric, community, and psychiatric nursing in sub-divisional, district, and medical college hospitals.
